BUDDY BEARS EXPANDING
Buddy bears are teddy bears that are kept on board the fire trucks and Firefighters use these bears when they encounter children who are involved in high stress situations such as: car accidents, structural fires, and the loss of life. The bears are given to children to help comfort them, and lessen the impact of stressful and frightening events.
We are proud of the long standing partnership with the St. John’s Regional Fire Fighters Association to host such a worthwhile campaign over the last several years.
We are officially expanding!
