The Lions Club/VOCM Cares RADIO BINGO
The single largest fundraiser for the VOCM Cares Foundation is the Lions Club/VOCM Cares Super Radio Bingo. Bingo runs for an hour every Saturday evening on all stations of the VOCM/CFCB Network and BIG Land Labrador’s FM.
Dial-a-Carol
The Dial-A-Carol is an annual VOCM Christmas tradition. For more than three decades this program has raised funds in support of local charities. Listeners are given the opportunity to call into the program to pledge their support and in return request their favourite Christmas carol.
Fish/Chips Fundraiser
A portion of all FISH & CHIPS sales will be supporting community groups in Newfoundland and Labrador through VOCM Cares programs.
50/50
In recent years, the demand for support from charitable organizations in our province has continued to rise. To meet this growing need, we launched a new fundraising initiative aimed at strengthening our ability to give back. The VOCM Cares 50/50 draw is held twice a year—once from September to December, and again from January to April. The winner receives 50% of the total funds raised, while the remaining proceeds go directly to supporting vital programs and services in communities across the province.

In partnership with Dodgeball NL, we hosted our first Cares Community Dodgeball Tournament! Thanks to CE23, we had a great space to enjoy friendly competition, teamwork and supporting community services! Teams were invited to participate as corporate sponsors, community partners or simply friends/family. Stay tuned for details on 2026!
